Welcome to our adventure log! We’re Audrey and Garrett, a married couple with a passion for travel (Audrey) and sailing (Garrett).

In the spring of 2019, we quit our jobs and left San Francisco to travel and cruise with our sailboat full-time. We began cruising down the California Coast on our 35’ sailboat, Thisldu, in October, and are currently in Nicaragua.

Garrett and I met during our freshman year at Michigan State University and have been inseparable ever since. He’s from Michigan, I’m from Connecticut, and we’ve lived in Rhode Island, Arizona, and California, too.

In 2014 we had a life-changing discussion about the 5 things that were most important to us.
From that discussion, our dream was born: one day we were going to travel and sail the world.

But neither of us knew how to sail. And we didn’t have any money.

We figured it all out, though, and that’s why we’re here, sharing our story with you, today.
